Traveling through Lubbock I found a really cool pizza place called Capital Pizza. Located at 2705 26th St, Lubbock, TX 79410, this place is located in a really nice shopping area.

Just like at 575 Pizzeria I sat at the bar. I liked the decor in this place a lot. I liked all the different draft beer handles that decorated the walls. As a fan of draft beer I like to try different kinds when I’m in a bar. They had a lot of alcohol to choose from.

Sticking to my rule that I established in the last pizza update I chose the Capital Carnivore. It came topped with canadian bacon, italian sausage, hamburger, pepperoni, bacon and mozzarella cheese. If you haven’t noticed yet, yes I’m a carnivore. My usual style is to get pepperoni but I’m liking the extra toppings.

This pizza was stacked!! What I mean to say is, this pizza was heavy!! I wish I could have weighed this thing. I didn’t even think about it until later but when I grabbed the pizza and left the store I was well aware of the weight this thing had to it. It was loaded with toppings. As I ate it the toppings kept falling off the pizza.

Final Thoughts

The Capital Carnivore at Capital Pizza was good. I couldn’t eat what I normally would eat. The toppings were that much on this pizza. Great atmosphere and a great pizza. I would recommend this place to anyone. Maybe next time head back and grab a pizza and a beer!
