For my job I travel a lot and I like pizza. Maybe a little too much. I decided that each new city I would try a specialty pizza place. I set a loose rule for myself that I would try to order one of the specialty pizza’s that was on the menu. If by chance I just couldn’t order one, then I would stick to my favorite, pepperoni. As I continue this journey I will add more pictures of the store or menu and what not. For my first two pizza updates, the posts will be lacking (sorry).

For my first stop it was 575 Pizzeria in Amarillo TX. The store is located at 2803 Civic Cir, Amarillo TX 79109. Staff were friendly as I walked into the store and I found a quick seat at the bar. They went over the menu and discussed the two more popular specialty pizza’s on the menu. I ended up choosing one of the popular pizza’s called The Bender. The Bender is topped with mozzarella, italian sausage, canadian bacon, pepperoni and bacon. The other pizza, The Omni Pizza won the 2014 Best Overall Pizza in America. 575 Pizzeria won Best of Amarillo from 2010 to 2019.

Final Thoughts

This pizza was good… no it was great! I would definitely recommend 575 Pizzeria if you are in or near Amarillo TX. The pizza prices are from Small, Medium and Large. They have a good beer selection and a nice atmosphere while you sit and wait for your pizza.
