About
Hello, my name is Andy Jordan. In this blog I will discuss computer technology, pizza, the stock market and anything else I find interesting. Most of my career has been in statistical analysis, that’s where the lytical part of Jordanlytical comes from.
One of my hobbies is doing statistical analysis on the stock market. Trust me, I haven’t found the easy way to get rich from stocks! One thing I like doing is a versus type of analysis. One day I was reading an article that mentioned if you bought stock in Apple for the cost of the newly released iPod, instead of buying the iPod you would have made $10,000 from roughly $300. This intrigued me a lot and I set fourth to see where else this was true. Some examples that I plan on putting on this blog is what if you took your monthly Netflix subscription money and bought Netflix stock instead. How much would you have made since Netflix went public? Same could be done for Amazon Prime yearly memberships.
Another hobby of mine is computer technology. I have been doing computer work since high school and that was a while ago! I like building and teaching others how to build computers. Usually when friends and family can’t figure out a computer issue I’m the go to guy.
I have been programming on the side and have even created two android games that were released on the Play Store. I have also made mobile applications not released that were specific for me. This includes a learning game for my daughter that she could learn shapes, numbers and the alphabet. I’m also currently learning Linux and studying for the second exam for my Comptia A+ certification.
Other things I enjoy doing are playing pool, video games, reading, fishing, hunting and spending time with the family. Thank you for taking the time to look at my page. If you have any questions, comments or concerns please don’t hesitate to leave me a message on my contacts page.
